Penguins Poem by Rebecca Wright

Penguins

Rating: 0.5

If I were a penguin,
I'd jump really high
In a feeble attempt
to touch the sky

I'd beat both my wings
til my feathers were bust
But my feet would stay firm
upon snowy dust

I'd be obsessed with my goal
Of touching the sky
That i'd forget living
and then i'd die
