Pequeñas Fiestas - Poem by Jeff Gangwer

Democrats,
Republicans

Blue states,
Red states

Liberals,
Conservatives

Pro-choice,
Pro-life

Members of the mob,
Citizens of the Republic

A nation divided—
The oblivious of Nixonland

The same who guzzle beer and
Watch N.F.L. football on Monday nights

The same who devour chimichangas and
Blast their pequeñas fiestas onto their wives' chichis

It is we who are going to have Grandes Fiestas of collapse when all of this explodes in our face, we won't even be able to count the pieces.
Your poem, a call to awakening? anyway, thank you.

I guess there are a few of those!
But who would dare expose! (Report) Reply
