Pequeñas Fiestas - Poem by Jeff Gangwer

Blue states,
Red states

Members of the mob,
Citizens of the Republic

A nation divided—
The oblivious of Nixonland

The same who guzzle beer and
Watch N.F.L. football on Monday nights

The same who devour chimichangas and
Blast their pequeñas fiestas onto their wives’ chichis
