Perfect? - Poem by Subham Dutta

Country is not perfect
Nation is not perfect
Society is not perfect
Socialism is not perfect
Communism is not perfect
I am not perfect
You are not perfect,
We are not perfect
Definition of “Perfect” is not perfect.
What is perfect?

'nothing is perfect' is but a phrase for ppl to strive for the best, never give up, take and fake...... to attain perfection, then again....nothing is perfect...like catch 22!

short, sweet and the truth. (Report) Reply

perfect is the kiss my son plants on my cheek
perfect is the rice my mother cooks for me
perfect is the love that my friends give to me
perfect is this life through its all imperfections

Nothing that comes from humans can be perfect; what matters is the struggle, the effort, even in poetry. Let the poems speak their language, in their own language, as in this one, and you are on your way to.... (Report) Reply

Many replies of the word 'perfect' could represent the trouble about its opposite 'imperfect'. Poetry tells the tings as they stand and it often is, though not perfect, nice and useful. (Report) Reply

A very nice and thought provoking poem....well I'd say nothing is perfect because for everything, everyone's definition of perfection is different and disparate. (Report) Reply

Yeah I guess nothing can be perfect but it doesn't mean we have to stop dreaming of the perfect world where everything is wonderful and we all can get along with each other. (Report) Reply
