It took billions of years for life to emerge on this earth
It took even more time for us humans to wait
For this chance to be alive and celebrate our birth
A chance to set foot on this planet and gaze at the universe.

Yes, the sun and the planets have been here for billions of years
And they’re going to be here for many more billion years
Though they’re like sands on our beaches and light years apart
Not one, it seems, has intelligent life like what mother earth bears.

We are the humanity, we’re so rare, short lived and fragile
Which makes us the more precious, beautiful and lovely
We are the humanity, we can play, create, love and smile
We can reason, we can imagine, our possibilities are endless.

Now, what shall we do with ourselves, with our human life?
Are we going to squander it or are we going to love it?
Are we going to settle for a life of chaos and strife?
Or, are we going to pursue our ultimate destiny?

Nature endowed us with mind and intelligence
It’s now in our hands the process of evolution
It’s now time to realize our ultimate destiny
We, the great humanity, deserve perfection.

Every step in evolution is towards perfection
But the perfection we seek, nature will take eternity
With our new tool of science and technology
We’ll soon have a glimpse of our ultimate destiny.

We will strive for perfection, it’s our ultimate destiny
Diseases, poverty, natural disasters, we will conquer
We will build a peaceful and orderly world society
Genuine hope and security will be upon us all.

Though death may still be around, we will live much longer
Hundreds of years if not thousands we will enjoy
Our greatest possession, our mind, we will cultivate
So our greatest gift, our human life will be filled with joy

We will build self-sufficient communities like paradise all over
It will be contentment being there sharing life with others
Our farms and crops we will engineer, no one will hunger
And our shelters will be underground for ultimate security.

We will use and share technology for the benefit of us all
We will manage our resources, avoid waste and pollution
Our tools and gadgets will be efficient, durable and repairable
We’ll stop changing models just to promote consumption.

We must act like humans and strive for perfection
All we need is a star of faith and love to guide us right
A faith in the beauty of human life we must fill our mind
A love, selfless and enlightened, we must fill our heart.
