Periods Poem by Clemency Takawira

Periods

The Principal, commanding:
'Smoke break
At the completion of each period.'
The English teacher, begging:
'Periods at the end of every sentence."
The Science teacher, tactful:
'Women go to their periods every month end.'
Periods are lessons enriching minds;
Punctuation marks animating poems;
Cycles glorifying women.
