Pest Control: Poem by Lea Andrea AAA

Pest Control:

There’s a rat in my cupboard, dear Liza, dear Liza,
There’s a rat in my cupboard, dear Liza, a rat!

Well, it just squeaked now and went away.

But why is it the-e-ere, dear Henry, dear Henry,
But why is it the-e-re, dear Henry, but why?

Because it is my own mouse, dear Liza, dear Liza
Because it is my own mouse, dear Liza, dear Liza, my own.

Just around to visit me…

After all, it is mine.

But how shall I keep my room clean from my mouse…?
Well, I could try this or that,
But I think the easiest and most convenient, natural way is to, um, mark my territory, like a big cat, or just any cat.

And all the others will stay away.

Without getting in my way
Without getting hurt,
Of their own free will,
Because they can’t bear my stink.
(And that’s a hint) .
