Petals Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Petals

Flower

You are the flower of my eye.
Being so beauteous you're hard to ignore.
All petals, God's beauty galore.
All colors in yellow and pink.

From God's pen and ink.

This flower is a beautiful drawing.
It's beauty ever flowing.
It's mass just heavy enough.
It's petals just ample enough.

The picture God drew.

This flower took me away,
Into a fairy land of large proportions.
These flowers had their own populations
Of millions and trillions.

The universe of gardens God grew.

You are the flower of my eye,
Being so beauteous you're hard to pass by.
All petals, God's given beauty galore.
All colors in yellow, read and pink.

From God's magical pen and ink.
