Petals And Ashes Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Petals And Ashes

Rating: 5.0

How is existence
If untrue in your heart?
Day by day to fracture your life—
Your own imprisonment!

Fanatical ideas,
Under the control of prejudice—
Your golden chains they are!
Forever condemned
At your willing dispose.

Well, numb is my heart now;
With the passing of time,
Love in shadow that cannot see the light:
It can endure your punishment.

No anger as pain in disguise,
No wounds to mend, —just scars.
Only Love can melt it in pulses:
That sweet-weakness disease!
But, all are gone now…

Petals and ashes are mingled,
Of a broken rose, and extinguished flames:
The trace of our love you've left behind…

And free from burning fire,
A heavy stone I carry in my heart;
Blood in supply just for surviving,
Breathing life…
It suffocates me!

In the same way you can add all the rest I posted as translations of yours. I do not mind.The system has no objection if you add something on an existing one.What they do not want, i suppose, is not to get twice the points for the same poem.//In this way a reader, greek, of your will have the chance to see them in parallel.
