Ph: Love: How It Feels To Feel Loved (Redux) Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Love: How It Feels To Feel Loved (Redux)

Your smile is like winning at lotto
Where taxes are paid with a song,
Your laugh is like cloud-dappled sunlight
Bright waves that push surfers along.

In blending with you I am massless
Pure energy floats down life's stream,
In touching your heart there's a magic
That lets me know I've found a dream.

My nurturing you spawns an orchard
Where shelter can always be found,
In hearing you there is a music
That has no connection to ground.

Confronting you feelings are liquid
No blockages mess up the floor,
I haven’t felt wrong in forever
The lock disappeared from my door.

Protection’s not part of the picture
There’s no place that I’d rather be
A heart that can glow any brighter,
Is something that I’ve yet to see.

So save me a place in your garden
And cook me a meal if you’ve time,
Your questions my answers to prayer
And now I have finished this rhyme!
