Phosphorescent Skeleton Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Phosphorescent Skeleton

Phosphorescent
Phosphorescent skeleton
Rattling its teeth
It be night!

The chill and cold
Conspire fast
The bastions
Twilight changed
And frown all black

In the garden
Trees in silhouette
Wise owls and
Amorous nightingales
