My friends all have that picture perfect life
Why can't I have it all
I have a great family
But no one ever talks
We sit in the same house
Ride in the same car
But no one utters a single word
I know that they love me
But no one says it
My mom's always working
My real dad left
So many years ago
My step dad is great
But he just isn't my dad
My brothers and sisters
They get on my nerves
But I love them
Still we never talk
I'm afraid of losing them
I'm terrified of losing everyone
I don't wanna wake up one morning
To realize they're gone
And I didn't even notice
Why can't I have that picture perfect life?
