Piece Ended A Cycle Path (2011) Poem by David Joel Rodriguez

Piece Ended A Cycle Path (2011)

Rating: 3.0

There you were, picking away at what you really had no clue about...
Applying yourself to an unknown, thinking you're ALL of this route...

And who would have ever thought that there was a certain fee to a hate degree;
Costing everyone pain, yet alleviating when you flee as my gun only can decree.

Of course in the end, I had really felt a comfort on the feathered trigger;
An inner rush overwhelms, with your face at the edge of the chamber...

Your scared sweaty face determined if my finger should just go ahead and pull it.
Though the hate in me for you determined that you were just not worth the bullet.
