Pieces Of Lust

Falling in love throws all manner of misdemeanours by the road side
The eventual landing sticks like super glue on a dry surface
Should the love affair becomes unstuck the heavens will fall
Both sides of the pieces of lust have experienced a rainfall of love affairs before
Rendering the pieces unsuited for a union of intimacy

Suddenly the dawn of love claims the original sacred star
Nothing incongruent happened to the sacred discovery
The start is supposed to be virgin despite the niggling truth
The sacred garden had to be kept sacred to maintain the vow,
Till death do us part

Alas, like a bolt of lightning, the chain of love snapped
The silence of infidelity rearing its ugly head in the murky waters
One piece had gotten astray
Detached itself out of believe and let the murky waters encroach
No matter how super the glue was, grunts of disgruntlement ensured it does not stick
Despite the hurt the pieces of lust remained close but wouldn’t hug and stick
The flow of assortments will render the relationship cold
Because the calabash has broken and wouldn’t be mended
