Pillows Poem by Courtney Massony

Pillows

Rating: 5.0

They are fluffy and filled with love
soft, like a cloud, soaring like a dove
Looking like bears, hearts and stars
pirate ships and flying cars
Normal pillows that is.
Pillows are sharp
dangerous, not a toy
they bring me joy, as well as pain
dark red lines, slip and slide
down my wrists
everytime
I don't enjoy such things I do
they're filled with sorrow, pain and doubt
they make me smile, just awhile
then again, my pillow conspires
