Pink Rose Poem by Pallav Bhandari

Pink Rose

Between the branches
A beautiful flower
Pale yellow calyx
And pink petals
Made my heart sound
Like ding dong metals

Which flower is it?
What is its genus?
No idea I gathered
I couldn't think
But I was looking
Without a blink

I flew forward
In a desire to meet
My membranous wings
With vigorous flap
Leading me there
In no time gap

Its aroma was great
Wow, sweet fragrance
Made me hypnotized
Like this is paradise
Oh god almighty
Your creation is nice

I could not resist
I wanted to feel
The soft pink petals
That covered a bud
But it was sensitive
Like ‘Touch Me Not'

The flower was shy
It made a blush
Petals were cheeks
Where I did a kiss
Its aroma went strong
As I continued to tease

With this pleasure
It oozed its nectar
This sweet juice
Makes good honey
I sucked it all
Every dropp tiny

I eyed her at face
It gave me a smile
How cute it looked
Like a Barbie doll
With plenty emotion I said
I love you my girl
