Pinned To Your Bed Poem by Shirley K.W. Ka

Pinned To Your Bed

You wake up in the morning, and you can't get out of bed.
You feel so heavy, an intense pain by your chest.
It's like there's a dagger
stabbing you through your heart
Pinning you to your bed.
You can't get up, it's nailing you down
and it just keeps screwing in.
You're bleeding it out
you shout it out!
You pull harder to get away...
So you finally make it, away from your bed
and you turn around to look...
You see your heart, still pinned to your bed
it's just screwed in too deep.
It's soaking in blood as thick as mud
You feel a hole there by your chest...
...you drop
in a pool of red.
