Pitch Black Night Sky Poem by 7Shadows Teed

Night settles into place and you come to mind.
It's cold and lonely tonight.
The moon is not out.
Nor are the stars.

It's a pitch black night sky.
There’s no one here with me as I walk these streets.
What I'd give to have you by my side right now.

But I feel so distant from you.
I feel as though you've put me at a distance now.
So why am I here thinking about this?

I know now its cause I love you that much.
You can put me at as much of a distance as you want.
You could put me on the moon and you be here on this earth and I would still love you.

This night is so lonely...
There's no one here to comfort me.
I miss you...
I can't get over you and I've tried.

Just like the night sky needs the moon I need you.
But I could live without you I guess,
Although it would be hell.

The night sky is pitch black,
So alone.
There isn't a single star in sight and the moon is hidden.
It's a pitch black endless abyss.
That's how it is without you.

I'm lost on these empty streets as I wonder them alone.
There's no one here to guide me anymore.
There's no one...
No one at all...
Just like this night sky has no light...
There's no one there anymore.
