Plain Simple Girl Poem by Silence Dogood

Plain Simple Girl

Rating: 5.0

You say im ordinary.
That im a plain simple girl.
Nothing special a nobody.
A backround of this world.

Another faceless person.
Reconizable by name.
Another shodow of a life.
Only filled with pain.

Invisible is my motto
It's my mantra of the year.
Seems no one sees me.
It's like i've dissapeared.

Hidden behind clothes.
And a mask made of lies.
Blinking back the tears.
From empty brown eyes.

You say I dont exist.
That I mean nothing to the world.
You say im ordinary.
That im a plain simple girl.

Someday someone will recognize the beauty within you and enable you to cast off your fears and self-doubt. Someday someone will treat you as you deserve, someone will see you. You will mean everything to them. Keep your chin up. I was a 'plain simple girl' once too.
