Plastic Poem by Mathew Sutter

Plastic

The world today is so plastic.
People trying to improve themselves,
And make them more beautiful.
But I am quite tired of these plastic thoughts.
You people look all the same to me.
Mud and Gunk,
Consume your minds and bodies.
Now you are becoming plastic.
I can hear your thoughts,
And unfortunatley,
You are making me someone new alongst your side,

The world today is so plastic,
And I'm tired of being tired,
But mostly I am frustrated by people like you.
Your makup and cremes cannot hide your flaws from my eyes.
I can still see you for who you really are.
And my dear,
You are not,
And never will be beautiful.
Because you are made of plastic.
