Platonic Moon/ The Peculiar Logic Of Dr. Sandberg

Detain me if you would
With fingers so pure
An half embrace that went with uncertainty
Again I watched her words tremble
A dangerous silence seemed certain
Open to everything that shouldn't
I watched her eyes
The sun set in one as the moon felt her other
A stillness was felt in the air
Almost as if the wind grew parched upon hitting our skin
Modest was the gestures that went unseen
The tingles that made the hair on our skin awake from its slumber
Sudden hours that flew by watching the sunset that flourished in her eye
Her voice was lost although I could feel it caress my skin
At that moment I'm almost sorry
Sorry that my eyes were close to opening
A sensation emerged
One of regret
one of enraged fear
Her voice grew weaker by the minute
The touch of her skin grew less and less
Withdrawn prematurely before climax could brightly grin
I awoke abruptly to find myself not being able to move
As much as one could muster I simply could not find the strength
Arms would not break free from their hold on my chest
Wrapped in cotton vinyl as the slightest movement echoed softly against the soft padded wall
Estranged I yelled out
Only to be hit and dragged to an integration room
A stillness felt my body
A sudden fear struck my face as I slowly began to realize
She's no longer here
