Play, Play, O Lord Poem by Neela Nath Das

Play, Play, O Lord

Rating: 5.0

The music of my dancing heart
Rebels to confine in one part
Play, play, O Lord it in your art.
In grass, in shrubs in trees' every leaf,
In insect birds, every soul in brief,
In meanest creatures, feel you stay.
In hills, rivers, in the sun's ray.
Your magnitude expressed my Lord,
Play, play, play, play my heart's love chord!
I set free my prisoned music,
May your objects be tuned, to stick.

Lord creates living arts and His art living doing another art, the ultimate pieces of arts are us and all around. I love this poem as it flutes the harmony color of blues and sentimental thought. I agree with Sir Ramesh, we doing art in words and as my work they never be beautiful as others but when we express our thoughts it really a freedom. Deliver to the pen to emotional life or beautiful experience and nice thought..keep writing! _Unwritten Soul

Really, i appreciate your talent. composing poetry is not feasible for every one. only who has got feeling, emotion, thinking power and so on. never stop this. it may be true poetry may not give you money. but in my opinion it is the foundation of civilisation. i remember in my early age i was always disheartened and still my frnds say, what is the use. will it give you money and so on. but never bother for such comment and go on writing. wish you good luck.
