Player Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Player

Love just isn't on my radar
isn't something i want to try
You look for something major
That's why i said my goodbyes

Will you ever give up, player?
Yeah, you want a little love
I understand it's in your nature
But enough is enough

There's plenty of fish in the sea
I'm too elusive to be caught
Provide the bait that's how you hook em
But it's never guaranteed
I was amongst the many
And you haven't gotten any
Of what you sought
