Playful Love, Trickle Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Playful Love, Trickle

I felt your playful love trickle down my spine
even if you were not here
the waters between us stir restlessly
they long to break apart this distance, this fury
the sound of the winds are catching up
it wishes to whisk you away to me
hang on to the ticking seconds
until time makes me one with you
fear not, my love, in you I will dissolve
you and I will soon intertwine
when our skins finally touch
until eternity and beyond, we will never part
