Playing Into Heartstrings Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Playing Into Heartstrings

Penetrating rhythms taking me with the band into
musical compositions now being played to enrich
intellect as I listen.

Alluring and steady, not moving away at all, just
playing into heartstrings of my mind where they
are being translated into poetry.

Nothing to stop this prolific waterfall from doing
what it is meant to do in this life within me.
