Please Poem by Ryan Holmes

Please

Don't leave me here, Standing alone
Won't voice my fear, I'm too stubborn
I'll cry tonight when you are gone
These tears of fright, my sorrow's sewn

Don't say those words, don't say them please
Your love is what I really need
My eyes are stung with my regrets
Don't say that you are leaving yet

Just hear me out, please let me speak
Your threats to leave mark me as weak
Don't go to him, don't kill our love
Please understand what I speak of

I'm blind to all, except for you
I'll be faithful, forever true
Please let me make this commitment
Please stay with me, my Heaven's sent
