Please Come Back Poem by Himanshu Mishra

Please Come Back

There you are, in the midst of the world
Among the humans, who never understood you
You never imagined they were so cynical
To give you distress, under this serene blue

I still remember, the magnificent charm of your face
The innocence, to dry away anyone's tears
Sapphire eyes, glowing without grimace
Evocative mind, without any fear

I apologize for my foolishness, how tony I was
to say to you, 'Let us not be friends.'
I wish the nature won't let the time to pass
Until I take my words back and blow out the flames

Forgive me for all my words
Forgive me for all my fouls
I seek completer forgiveness
from thy pure heart and selfless soul.

O brave lady! O ebullient mind!
I know you've changed, you're inert now;
There are many like you but none of your kind
But you've to regain your peace anyhow.

Enough! No more pain, no more sorrow
You can't punish yourself now, anymore
The clock is ticking and you're leaving them so hollow
Vanish the moments of the people you abhor

You have reasons to be happy
You have the right to live with dignity
You have a family with you, little baby
You have yourself, for your felicity

And at last there's still someone left above,

A devotee for more than eight years
A boy whose entire school life was influenced by you
A person who never showed you his fake tears
A friend who never complained of whatever you do
You enlightened his dreams as an angel
You showed him the real meaning of sacrifice
You were his inspiration in his power to tackle
Your feelings, your thoughts, he wants to realize

You were not with him for two years
But he kept you alive in his every breath;
He felt your presence as if you were so near
You are his only religion, his only belief
He keeps your initials in his name
He keeps your picture in his heart
He fights for you on anyone's blame
He spent sleepless nights when you were so apart

He has lot more to say
Words that don't deserve this rhyme
He is selfless, hope you realize someday
He wants to solve your problems, if you don't mind
He wants to see you smile again
He wants your happiness again
He wants his friend back again
He really needs his friend back again.
