Please Don'T Go Poem by Akujuobi Chijioke

Please Don'T Go

Please don't say it.
Don't say you don't love me,
That my heart melt not
That it not spill like drains of sorrow.

O! please say it not.
Don't appease me with pleas;
I'm not home to regrets
Or your utterances of soulful tears.

Please... say it not.
My moon in a blind cave,
The apple in my arid land
A treasure yet unseen.

Please... baby don't go.
The painful seconds of times ago
Watches you slip by me;
Left in a pit of agony I'm torn to lullaby...
