Plucking Blossoms Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Plucking Blossoms

Plucking blossoms from graves of loss, hoping to
find some part of their love still existing within
them.

Carefully placing them in water, a beautiful vase
of remembering from all the years together.

Watching from one day to the next, seeing nothing
but the withering decay of what used to be a perfect
love.
