Poem No: 48. Autumn Has Appeared With Fragrant Flowers Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Autumn has appeared with fragrant flowers
And the sky is now cloudless, blue and clear.
The thatches are covered with gourds and grapes
Which do fill every mind with happiness.

The breeze is singing and blowing gently
And the river is flowing tiredlessly.
The robins do whistle in intense joy
And the swallows twitter in the fresh sky.

The nights are decorated with twinkling stars.
The moon is happy to have his lover.
Autumn is now clad in gorgeous dress
To charm her sweetheart with her loveliness.

But my mind and heart cry only for thee
As they miss your proximity badly.
