Poet Bound Sentenced Ancient Mariner Tides Poem by Terence George Craddock

Poet Bound Sentenced Ancient Mariner Tides

Rating: 5.0

poet claims no moral superiority
poet sees watches listens views
life strands images through senses
inner eye mote time spun contrasts

poet meditates sees more clearly
privileged patient to time witness
life strands daily non-unique events
mind inhabits a variety of worlds

poet is born not more intrinsically
wiser at birth not more ethically
refined life technicalities profoundly

matter details affix star destinies
turmoil crisis clutter cast tragedies
seed existence inescapably arises

fatal blows hammer gem intrinsic minds
freak waves overwhelming consciousness

driftwood cast words, surge swept, into ocean chaos
poet bound must, sentenced ancient mariner, ride tides
