Poet's Capture Poem by Paul Sebastian

Poet's Capture

Rating: 5.0

Dusk’s shawl gently spreads
Over evening’s withdrawal to sleep
Gowned in bright scarlet shades
Evening reluctantly creeps

Night’s dress, twinkling with stars
Appears to invitingly woo the poet
A romantic night staged for lovers
The poet is enthralled, entrapped!

Searching deeply he paints in words
Capturing the moment fleeting by
Diluting feelings into pictures of words
Inked a poem, he leaves with a sigh!
