Poet's Dream Night Poem by Paul Sebastian

Poet's Dream Night

Rating: 5.0

Silvery faced moon gleam
Dressed in diamond-studded gown
Gracefully waltz through my garden
Perched high on a mango tree, an owl
Hooting in chorus with chirping crickets
Nocturnal orchestra stage a perfect night

Windows in my study cast wide open
Cool breeze rush in to kiss me
As I sit under a hooded study lamp
Steaming coffee keeps me company
Setting the perfect night for a poet
To paint a mosaic of heart-felt words
It’s the poet’s perfect dream night

I must congratulate you for creating such an ethereal dreamy sequence where the moon was 'dressed in a diamond studded gown' and various creatures were busy conducting 'nocturnal orchestra'. Thanks for showcasing the perfect setting for the poet's creative best.
