Poet's Prayer
Once upon a midnight blue
Rose’s sang and blues belles danced
Silver lined puffy clouds, reminding me …
Picturesque masterpiece held me entranced
Angels gracefully pray
While diamonds wink
Sweet summer’s essence of the day
Spin me round …. Make me think
Golden orb of beauty shining bright
Free my mind and bring me light
Make my soul, crystal clear
Help me to be honest and sincere
Wisdom grow upon mind
Nurture me through the storm
Peace may I find
