Close your eyes and feel
a touch so light that was never there
a hug that tells of warmth, of sighs, of care

Close your eyes and breathe
the fragrance of a single moment, of flowers at night
that holds a smile in remembrance held tight

Close your eyes and know
that a shared thought is worth holding on to
with a firm grip of the reality that is you

Close your eyes and see
that forever does not exist in time
but in dreams that I saved, forever be mine
