Poetry Forever Poem by Offiong Felix

Poetry Forever

We share in life this one thing in common;
Grandeur in lips you've got, and so will I
The trails that you laid, I will follow on
Till beyond I will lie there where you lie.

If death won't parts us nothing else will try
Poetry I am yours, your perfect symbion
I live by you with you in me, that's why
We share in life this one thing in common

Your poets are gods adored by everyone
Nothing else but like them to be my cry
The why I have you in me on and on
Grandeur in lips you've got, and so will I

The joy to create a line or that to try
Sweet sweeter than honey and love at dawn
So to write my joy poetry! Far on high
The trails that you laid, I will follow on

Circumcise me poetry whole and anon
In this race of "I wealthy less I die"
Ere my soul is lost to wealth, let's be one
Till beyond I will lie there where you lie

Until I am a god or a god I
And be satisfied like oak from acorn
And be like the poets I did glorify
For between us is just you in common
We share in life.
