Poetry Is A Way Of Speaking

POETRY IS A WAY OF SPEAKING

Poetry is a way of speaking
One hears from inside

It has a rhythm and a meaning of its own

It is a way of speaking
A way of thinking
Of feeling

A habit of mind
Surprising itself
With its own incompletely describable dreaming

An excellent description of poetry - our passions, emotions, senses and dreams - all put into words as only the poet can do.... and then interpreted and understood only by another poet. (Report) Reply
