POISONOUS BUD
Melvin D. Banggollay
The fragrance of your love
Entwined upon your heart
Is as sweet as a roses bud
So beautiful and truly smart
Outside but so fake inside
with deceit and pesticide
hidden deep side by side
ready to commit a homicide.
The scents of your sweet smile
filled with flirting every while
is like a poisonous flame of fire
embroidered with burning desire
to put my heart into quagmire,
devouring with tongue of satire.
