.Pole Vaulting

I’m on a high wire; up in the sky wire.
I’m living where the clouds are far below.
It’s not a real world; it’s just a dream world;
If I stumble, I shall fall and then I know
Reality will catch me as I tumble to the ground.
I know the day is coming but I don’t want to come down.
I’m on a high wire; I’m on a high wire.

The way you twist the word 'catch' in the fifth line creates a great image through the personification of 'Reality'. I'm on a high wire, too. Steady yourself.

Oh the excitement of pole vaulting! I don't believe that I would have the nerve to see or do it. Of course at times we may do other things just as dangerous and exciting. A very good write Adeline.
