Political Fiddle Fought Wars Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Political Fiddle Fought Wars

Rating: 5.0

it is
a language
a few

despicable
rogues
power strut

crazed
pulse play
crime fiddle

human net strung violins
to party patriot cat calls
plan serenade deceives

herd prod
stimulus
fed media

manipulated
naive masses
support terror

wars
fought
in name

OF WAR
ON
TERROR

news flash
WAR
is the terror

political
speech
can hit

raw nerves
soft bodies
innocent

babies
children
civilians

in next
to be
sly time

invaded
oil sand
occupation

anyone
for another
rag time

greased
palm paid
invasion tune?
