This is a short, but rather deep poem...I think I understand it, but I'm not certain I want to 'enter to the unknown'....muahaha... |

the only things people fear are the unknown and death, but as whitman says life is greater than both of the two fears, so live on |

I think this poem is talking about people dying and going into the world of the 'unknown' and those from life are ascending into death. it is like a 'portal' into that world! hints the name...lol |
