Post Coital Blues Poem by leonard daranjo

Post Coital Blues

And then the interminable void
That stretches neverendingly
Into the desiccated planes of decadence
Insatiable, insidious and intransigent
The monster feeds
On the spoils of its own making
In a desert laid bare by a cruel midday sun
