I've been in the storm for too, too long,
been in trials and tribulation, fighting temptation;
I've been going through lots of emotion in my life,
feeling hurt and pain, and crying in the rain.
That's why I need the power of prayer.

Lord, you are my rock and strength.
You can help me out of this.
Lord, you can hear my cries of anger.
You know my hurt and my pain.
You can bless me with the power of prayer.
