Powerful Memories
I’m still wondering how
How did I reach here?
Yet trying to know why
Why I have to be here?
Then I got you on my mind
You were always there behind
Showing me the correct stand
You were holding my hand.
But nothing stays the same
So the things have changed
I left you with the passing time
Now, I’m not getting the life’s rhyme.
Your memories have that power
To let me out from this dark
And yet somehow I rely on you
It’s something I never want to lose.

A really good poem about remembering a person who was a mentor n a guide but somehow was left behind in the way. Remembering that one in trying times. Good write indeed.
