Praise And Gratitude Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Praise And Gratitude

There surely is praise and gratitude
For a young wife who works like a slave
Cleaning, cooking, continually shopping
Making certain the children behave.

She once was a fine fashion model
Praised for her looks as a beauty queen.
And compliments never stopped flowing
Now she's tied to 'the old routine'.

But for the moment she'll do the job well
Everywhere perfect with sparkle and sheen
Meeting her children at sound of the bell.
She will soon return to the glamour scene.

Praises and gratitude with kisses galore
Will then cheer her day as never before!
And the good life will shine anew, for
A wife and mother with a heart so true.
