I will not believe…
I absolutely can’t…
Oh lord I pray this to be a dream

It can’t be real because pain cannot hurt this much,
I thought death was to nullify this feeling.
Yes I’d rather be dead than to accept this
Oh Father I pray this to be a dream

How could this happen?
It seemed as though everything was perfectly fine,
No this can’t be real, I won’t believe it
Oh God I pray this to be a dream

Nothing in human imagination could feel this way
So I rule out reality; there’s no way in life
This is real but I feel the pain as though it is,
Oh Almighty I pray this to be a dream

Sovereign Lord I know you don’t perform miracles anymore
And to ask for myself as an exception deems obscene
But God forgive me for my sins and short comings
And My God please I pray this to be a dream
