Pray For Gae'A Poem by Thomas Golding

Pray For Gae'A

Lonely singer wandering slowly
Supplicant for Gaea's womb
Warmth and darkness / Light

Eternal Mother gave you feelings
Chorded of the world's vibrations
Seeking listeners / Alone

Children hearkening to the measure
Through their time of loving
Then the call for time to be / Echoes

Sing a song of sullied waters
To the rapists passing by
Heedless / Laughter

Whisper to the shrinking forest
Soon will come the fire and axe
Pain / Within

Pibroch wail to trembling creatures
Soon you will no more adorn
Life / Goes by

Crying to the empty landscape
Strumming slackens with the tide
Dying / Earth
