Say a Prayer For Peace
Tonight before you go to sleep
To keep our soldiers safe from harm
While they battle far away

Lord we beg you please
Give them all the strength they need
Tell them that our hearts reach out
And await their safe return

Thousands of miles from the U S of A
Where the nights are lonely and cold
Soon the stars above will guide them home
To the ones they long to hold

Say a Prayer For Peace
Tonight before you go to sleep
For the heroes that protect our land
From the terror that we see
Lord I hope you hear
Our Prayer For Peace
Won't you bless the dreams we share
And show our brave how much we care
With our Prayer For Peace.
