Preordained Poem by David Harris

Preordained

Sometimes we stand
near the edge of an abyss
and wonder if we’ll fall in,
but something is holding us back
and that cannot be our sins.
If it was our sins
we would have fallen in long ago.
It is just something in our life
that will not let us go
are we preordained for something,
something we must do.
Only time can tell
if that statement is true.
