Price Of Laziness Poem by MERAJ UDDIN

Price Of Laziness

Like a heavy log he lay
Munching eatables everyday
People called him lazy
But he remained very busy
His parents started to fear
That with every passing year
Their son would put on inches
And would not feel their pinches
But never did he listen
As he was set to accomplish his mission
One day came a girl so beauty
He forgot all about his duty
She was so tall and so thin
With her fair and radiant skin
He tried very hard to impress
But was destined to get depress
When he looked at his size
Little did he realize?
That the girl would say sorry
And would leave him in a hurry
