Pride Poem by Cee Bea

Pride

Rating: 5.0

she left
into the mist,
with all the love

she held
for me

Mantras and chants of

unspoken words

haunt the night

surreal in sadness

my heart pounds as the world
spins
out of control

As beautiful as this place is
it shall always remain

ugly
 in its emptiness

I
left with pride

and tears the rain can
not

wash away.
